Trip for two to play 36-holes at Forest Creek Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC. Play 18-holes on each of the Tom Fazio's courses, the North Course and South Course. Tom Fazio's graceful South Course weaves through pleasantly rolling terrain, giving it an unforced, natural feel that fits right in with the broad swaths of pines. He didn't move much dirt – there was no need. The result is one of the finest routings in the Pinehurst area since Donald Ross walked these same sandy soils. The North Course at Forest Creek was Tom Fazio's chance to defy convention & move away from a more traditional style. He did just that, exposing 30 acres of native sandscapes and establishing a strong sense of place. The North Course is pure, rugged golf. Overnight accommodations included. Mutually agreed upon date with member host and GSGA staff representative.
A note from GSGA Foundation: The GSGA Foundation Auction raises funds to support its Yates and Moncrief Scholarship Programs. For over 30 years, the Yates Scholarship Program has provided college grants to employees, and their dependents, at GSGA member clubs across the state. The Moncrief Scholarship Program honors deserving students in the field of agronomy and turf management at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia, and students who work and live in Georgia but attend an accredited program outside of the state. We appreciate the support of all those who have generously donated rounds of golf for this auction.
Additionally, the GSGA Foundation enriches the lives of others through the game of golf by increasing opportunities for individuals with physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities to play golf through our Adaptive Golf Program, and growing affordable access to golf for thousands of juniors through Youth on Course Georgia. The GSGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation and contributions are tax-deductible.
